According to reports, Dre Cali, a former Mpaka Records singer, is battling a strange disease in Canada.
Dre Cali left Uganda quietly in search of a better life, leaving behind a disgruntled former boss in Ykee Benda.
He also disappointed and shocked his fans by his decision to abandon his music career after him becoming a reputable local music brand.
However, it’s been a few months in Canada, where he’s reportedly living with relatives, and word is that he’s not in the best of health.
During the recent After 5 show, NBS TV presenter Douglas Lwanga revealed the unfortunate news.
According to Lwanga, Dre Cali is suffering from a serious illness, which is why he has decided to avoid social media.
“I was told by a credible source that the reason Dre Cali refused to come back to Uganda is that he has a serious medical condition,” Lwanga said.
“That’s why all his social media pages have been dormant. He is not chilling and relaxing as we thought, he’s battling some sicknesses. I can’t however confirm or refute this,” Douglas Lwanga elaborated
