Swangz Avenue singer Winnie Nwagi has revealed that when she first started out in showbiz, she was constantly hurt by negative comments from fans on social media.
Winnie Nwagi explained that whenever she posted and was met with negativity in the comments section, she would always cry.
She was depressed until she developed a thick skin, as well as the courage and confidence to respond directly to negativity.
She decided to confront her detractors by blocking some of them and responding with insults to her fans who had proven to be a thorn in her side.
The “Musawo” singer explained that she chose to engage with her Instagram critics because she usually has time to respond to a few of them.
When asked if she takes time to respond to her critics on Facebook, she stated that Facebook wars are exhausting to participate in.
