Ugandan singer Quex has resumed his music career after earning a degree in Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery by releasing a brand new song.
Quex, a local singer, was among the 2,394 students who graduated from Kampala International University on Saturday.
George Kwesiga a.k.a. Quex, best known for his hit single Kachumbali, took a break from music shortly after his breakthrough to finish his degree.
He was successful in his pursuit of a bachelor’s degree, and he intends to use the knowledge and fame he has gained in recent years to promote public health.
Fans have always wondered if Quex’s studies would interfere with his music, and he gave them the best response by releasing a new song.
He announced his new song, Rastaman, while sharing the good news of his graduation with his fans.
“Bachelor Of Medicine and Surgery, Done. Thank you God. Dr. Quex. New Song Out: Rastaman by Quex Available on all music platforms.” he celebrates
