Pallaso Biography, he began his musical career as a member of the band Leone Island, going by the stage name Lizard. Mudigidde, his first single, was released in 2003 and was produced by his brother Dr. Jose Chameleone. The song received a lot of airplay and positive feedback after it was first played on Radio Simba by Bobo King and Omulangira Ndawusi.
However, Pallaso left Uganda in 2006 to work in the United States, where he also continued his music career. During his time in America, he changed his name from Lizard to Pallaso. In addition, he collaborated with a local rapper known as The Mess while living in Lewiston, Maine. They worked together on a joint album called Change, which was released in 2013.
In addition, Pallaso collaborated with Shaggy and DJ Hidrro in 2014 to release the song “Remain in Our Hearts,” which was dedicated to fallen heroes such as Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, and The Notorious B.I.G.
Later that year, Pallaso returned to Uganda and began his musical journey with “Amaaso,” a collaboration with Goodlyfe Crew.
The song however became a chart topper and spent several weeks on various TV and radio musical charts. Pallaso in addition went on to work on a number of solo musical projects, including “Wekoledewo kaki,” “Omugongo,” and many others.
Team No Sleep
He then formed the musical group Team No Sleep with Ugandan artiste Sheebah Karungi, with prominent musical manager Jeff Kiwa serving as the group’s manager. King Saha, Ak47, and other rising musicians later joined the Team No Sleep group.
The duo released their first single “Mundongo” with Sheebah, followed by “Go Down Low,” which won Best Afro Pop Song at the HiPipo Music Awards in 2015. Pallaso later co-produced “Tamale Mirundi” with King Saha, as well as several other singles such as “Kilabe embaliga” and “Sanyu lyange,” which was a remake of a classic by another Ugandan artist, Sweet Kid.
He began working on a collaboration with Nigerian musician Davido in November 2014 for the single “Twatoba,” which was released in January 2015. He therefore released it alongside other 2015 songs such as “Ffe tuliko,” “Tiwa Savage,” “Mubambazanga,” “Tebakusobolola,” and many more. However, Pallaso left Team No Sleep on May 19, 2015, to form his own group, Team Good Music. After the misunderstanding with his manager Jeff Kiwa and Sheebah Karungi.
His Personality
He is Jose Chameleone‘s younger brother. Pallaso has two children: a girl named Maisha Mayanja and a boy named Dinari Mayanja. He was wanted by the cops for fleeing with handcuffs on after being arrested for violating the COVID-19 social distancing rules.
Pallaso was attacked by an enraged mob in Johannesburg, South Africa. He was allegedly hit with stones and cut with pangas. He’d gone there to film a new video for one of his songs.
