Lydia Jazmine took to Twitter today to explain how important it is to protect your heart. She is overjoyed with doctors who have taken the initiative to save people suffering from cardiovascular disease.
“On Thursday I had the previlage of visiting & witnessing the great works our doctors are doing to save heart disease patients in Uganda with my friends, @idringp & Former Miss Uganda – Mrs. Sylvia Namutebi Allibhai.” She said.
However, Weeks back, Uganda Heart Institute (UHI) launched a two-month campaign dubbed ‘Use your Heart to Connect’.
“This year on World Heart Day, we want you to listen to your heart, attend your regular check-ups and ensure to call the emergency services if you need to. This will enable you to get professional medical care,” the Minister said.
Lydia Jazmine also commended how it is great to be part of the campaign. “It’s heartwarming to be apart of a cause which is so dear to me, advocating for heart health awareness in partnership with The Uganda Heart Institute, @ugandaheartinstitute this year. I’m Truly Grateful.”
In addition, Lydia Jazmine also advised her fans to eat healthy in order to keep the hearts safe. “My advice to all my fans & every Ugandan is to eat healthy in order to keep your hearts safe & free from any possible heart infections that might arise due to poor diet and unhealthy lifestyle Thank you @talentafricagroup @alytalentafrica For this opportunity.” She added.
In Conclusion, Jazmine thanked @talentafricagroup, @alytalentafrica and The Uganda Heart Institute for the great opportunity granted to her to participate in the cause.
