Over the weekend, Joseph Mayanja alias Dr. Jose Chameleone received a brand new range rover from National Resistance Movement (NRM) official. The Official is President Museveni’s cousin known as Nzeire Kaguta alias Toyota.
This raised the National Unity Platform (NUP) supporters’ concern since Dr. Jose Chameleone was claiming to be a NUP belong. NUP is now the strongest opposition party in Uganda with Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu as the president. NUP supporters have gone ahead to critise Dr. Jose Chameleone that he really is a chameleone since he keeps changing from one party to another. He (Chameleone) was a DP supporter who in 2010 joined Museveni’s NRM. Recently in the previous elections, he joined NUP and wanted a card to become the Kampala lord mayor which was denied. Chameleone later applied as an independent to become Kampala Lord mayor but all in vain since he was won.
In his reply to the NUP critics, Chameleone went on his social media platform and accussed them of being jealous.
“I was born free like any of us, I see many building and customizing others by their expectations. That’s not a free way to live together in harmony. God manifests himself in people today. The devil too. We can’t all live in your opinion, that is a prison.
“How many of you throwing tantrums and jealousy came to visit me when I was down ???????? Waste your data on relevancy. This is just a car. What if a plane? Mbu this, that- Don’t force or intimidate anyone. Just be the example of the freedom promised for us one day. Let love make it’s way. I pray for you all.” He said

In conclusion, NUP President Robert Kyagulanyi, he paid a deaf ear on Chameleone deed since he did not invite him to the party.
