Priscilla Zawede alias Azawi will be releasing her first ever album titled African Music on 9th October, 2021. This is her debut album and it includes some already release songs and those which are yet to be released. Azawi started her music career earlier in 2019. She was signed by Swangz Avenue, which she is still going to produce her first music album from.
In her early age of 24, Azwi has written songs for big artists in the industry, which include Eddie Kenzo, Lydia Jazmine, Vinka who is also in Swangz Avenue and many others. Azawi learned how to sing and write songs with the help of her brother and a friend who saw how talented she was. They decided to help her develop her talent through music. She first joined Kika group where she didn’t take long in the group.

Once in an interview, “I believed in myself so much. I can’t say that I was proud, but I knew I was good enough not to be used [and] I was good enough not to be exploited,” she says. “I was like, if I die with my art, I die with it but I’m not gonna let anyone exploit me. I’m not going to be desperate.” She said
