On Saturday, March 5, 2022, former media personality Sheila Nduhukire introduced her lover to her parents in a traditional ceremony in Kiruhura.
The couple made their relationship official in the humble “Obugyenyi” ahead of a wedding ceremony that is rumored to take place later this month.

The Mpaka Records singer Ykee Benda, who has always publicly expressed his feelings for Sheila Nduhukire, took to Twitter and wrote, “This is heartbreaking.”
He later followed up with another tweet in which he wished Nduhukire a happy marriage.
“Ofcos I wish you the very best. Don’t mind the noise from these streets. Go be the best version of yourself, go be merry. Happy Marriage (Reach out just incase)” he quoted.
