With her fourth consecutive sold-out performance at Lugogo Cricket Oval, singer Spice Diana, aka Hajjara Namukwaya, of Source Entertainment, has created history. The date of January 13, 2023, will long be remembered as the day Spice Diana cemented her place in history as the only female performer to open the new year’s festivities at a show that sold out the historic stadium. This performance was a clear sign of Spice Diana’s growing power on the Ugandan music scene.
Fans of Spice Diana went to the location as early as 4 PM, and by 8 PM it was completely packed with revelers who were spotted shoving for space. Before Spice Diana’s epic run of performances, the evening opened with sets from several DJs who delighted the audience with exciting mixes.
Other female artists were given the opportunity to succeed by Cindy sanyu, and last year 2022 Swangz Avenue gave Lugogo Cricket Oval a shot with its performers.
