Karole Kasita, who was born on April 25, 1989, is one of the most celebrated female singers of her generation, having had a couple of hit songs in recent years.
As she celebrates her 33rd birthday today, she has released a new song titled “Nywamu,” which translates as “Drink.”
“Nywamu” is an Afro-dancehall song that celebrates the end of Uganda’s Covid-19 lockdown, which lasted over two years.
The song, produced by two renowned producers, Nessim and Artin Pro, and mastered by HerbertSkillz, evokes the desire to get on the dancefloor and shake your body.
The visuals shot by multi-award-winning Sasha Vybz will also keep you glued to your screen as you watch the choreography, costumes, and good editing executed to perfection.
Karole Kasita dedicates the song to her fans and media outlets for their love and support over the years.
