Swangz Avenue songbird Irene Ntale has finally hit the studio and released a new banger dubbed Ndaga. Irene Ntale has taken some time without giving Ugandans especially her fans new music but finally she has done it.
This was seen after her posting on her social media on how she has released a new banger. Irene Ntale, on posting this new song Ndaga, went ahead and thanked her supporters for their long term patience for her music.
“Can’t thank you enough for your patience. -/04/22 NDAGA.” Irene Ntale posted.
Ntale is one of the female music icons Uganda is blessed with. Therefore, if she releases a project, her fans are just sure of quality of her product.
Irene Ntale Biography
Irene Ntale is a multi-award-winning Ugandan R&B/Soul vocalist, lyricist, and guitarist who was born on January 30, 1989 to George William Ntale.
Ntale has established a distinct sound of RnB, Reggae & Acoustic soul with ethical and uplifting lyrics, with a self-assured style that navigates dance-pop, modern R&B, and reggae elements.
She went to Kitante Primary School, Kitante Hill School for O-levels, and Makerere High. This however is now Migadde College, for A-levels. Her bachelor’s degree in procurement and logistics management was awarded by Kyambogo University.
As a child, Ntale learned to sing in school and in the church choir. So here, she learned to play the guitar. After picking up the guitar, she became a regular competitor in talent shows. Ntale however typically sang cover songs until she was signed to Swangz Avenue in 2013.
She signed with the label and released her debut studio album, “Nkubukinze,” which received positive reviews. This earned her the Uganda Music Awards’ Best Female Breakthrough Artist award (TUMA). Her other album, “Sembera,” was released in 2016. And it featured a number of successful songs, including “He Go Down” and “Gyobera.”
After parting ways with Swangz Avenue, Ntale formed a new management firm and made her debut at the SXSW Festival in March 2019. However, later that year, she joined Universal Music’s Nigeria label, making her major-label debut with the single “Nyamba” in August 2019.
In addition, Ntale has had a string of hit songs since then, including “Nyamba”. “Ngandi Nawe,” “Enamba,” “Gyobera,” “Love Letter,” “Stay with me,” “Nkubukinze,” and “Olindaba.”
