BET award winner Edrissa Musuuza aka Eddy Kenzo may be a fan favorite for many, but he tasted the wrath of some of his detractors yesterday evening at Makerere University Fresher’s Ball.
During his performance at the University’s fresher’s ball, the “Sitya Loss” singer, like Big Eye, was pelted with bottles.
The singer was performing his hit song “Weekend” when the audience began booing and later threw bottles at him.
The incident caught him off guard, and he began to wonder what was going on, but the bottle throwers couldn’t answer him because they were busy doing their job until police fired tear gas and bouncers guarded him.
His security detail drew him away from the stage before he could even comprehend what was happening.
It is unclear why the students decided to kick Kenzo off stage, but he is one of the artists who supported NRM in 2021.
