Singer Eddy Kenzo enthralled his fans in early 2020 by making grand announcements about a mega festival to commemorate his musical journey.
The festival was to be the first of its kind to be organized by a Ugandan artist. Following the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, which rocked the country for two years in a row, the festival would be canceled.
However, with the resumption of music concerts and the full reopening of the economy, Eddy Kenzo has rekindled his plans to hold the festival.
To begin with, he is not the first African musician to host a festival with a series of events to commemorate his musical career. Annual festivals have previously been hel-d by Nigerian superstar Phyno and Tanzanian playboy Diamond Platnumz.
The Big Talent Boss has now confirmed the festival’s existence. This was via his social media accounts, teasing about the date but leaving nothing conclusive.
“#Enjoyment anytime now Linda date osilike!” On Facebook, he posted.
