B2C singer Mugisha Richard, also known as Mr. Lee, has spoken out about his encounter with armed thugs on his way home.
Mr. Lee shared his testimony at Worship House Church in Nansana, led by Pastor Wilson Bugembe, and described how, one night while returning home from an outing alone, he noticed a boda-boda trailing him in the early hours of the morning.
He sensed danger right away, but ignored his thoughts and continued driving. On his way forward, he encountered tough ‘officers’ dressed in military uniforms.
They quickly instructed him to park on the side of the road. He was stopped and told to get out of the car at gunpoint.
The singer was then told to lie down on the ground and was warned not to do anything stupid.
Mr. Lee recalls being threatened by the thugs, who threatened to end his life unless he calmed down. His car was thoroughly searched while he was on the ground, and the majority of his valuables were taken.
He thanks God that the six thugs did not cause him physical harm and praises the Lord for another chance at life.
