Skales, a Nigerian artist, and Lydia Jazmine, one of Uganda’s best singers, have hinted at a new project they’ve been working on together. Skales, a Nigerian Afrobeats musician whose true name is Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, gave a performance over the weekend at the Jameson & Friends party.
As many solo songs as she has produced in collaborations, same way with the one and only Geosteady was Lydia Jazmine’s first. Lydia Jazmine has been in the press a lot lately, but not for her music, but rather for the way she dresses and the number of vacations she takes. While there, she publishes images that pique the interest of Ugandan guys, making them want to devour her whole.
The singer has made a few famous acquaintances while visiting Uganda on numerous occasions, and one of them is Lydia Jazmine, real name Lydia Nabawanuka. At Skales’ apartment, the two got together and made the decision to record some new music for their fans. Both artists are seen vocalizing in a video posted to their Instagram stories that attempts to set up the rhythms.
Although Lydia Jazmine said that the project will be released in 2023, the name of their collaboration and other information regarding its release date are still kept under wraps. With the title “Atamanyi kuyimba wakufa 2023,” she attempted to convey how prepared musically she is for the next year in the video she released.
