Winnie Nwagi of Swangz Avenue has spoken out about what happened at the Ministry of Internal Affairs a few weeks ago.
Winnie Nwagi was the talk of the town at the beginning of this month after a video clip of her being kicked out of internal affairs premises went viral on social media.
The saga saw the singer’s father come to her defense, revealing that there could be a saboteur who appears to feel good whenever his daughter is caught breaking the law.
Winnie Nwagi opened up about what really happened at Internal Affairs during an interview at Karole Kasita’s album listener’s party at the Imperial Royale Hotel.
Winnie Nwagi revealed that she intended to go to the gym before heading to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Her manager, however, called her on her way to the gym and urged her to stop by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and renew her passport.
The singer goes on to say that she had no idea her outfit would be deemed indecent by Ministry officials.
Nwagi, on the other hand, is relieved that she was able to renew her passport with the assistance of her team.
Winnie Nwagi however insisted that she has no ill will toward the female security official who mistreated her.
