Cindy Sanyu and Sheebah Karungi have been at odds since Cindy declared war on her fellow singer Sheebah Karungi in 2019.
During the war, the two exchanged insults on social and mainstream media for days. For example, the Cindy Sanyu stated that she was not prepared for a proposed music battle with Queen Karma, stating that she (Sheebah Karungi) is a CD artist who cannot sing live and is a dummy controlled by her music label.
“Most of the female artistes right now don’t write their own music, they are all under labels. They are being told and taught what to do. They are funded so they are basically dummies.” When asked about her music battle with Sheebah, Cindy proudly stated during an interview on UBC.
Cindy proudly stated that she is better than all Ugandan female artists because she manages her music on her own and has proven to be the best after many years on the scene.
Sheebah recently left Jeff Kiwa’s Team No Sleep (TNS) and was replaced by Pinky, a 17-year-old.
Cindy has celebrated her departure after hearing the news today, claiming that she needs to be independent
“Good for her, independence is better in this industry of ours.” Cindy’s reaction to the news
