Sumi Crazy, a talented singer, has spoken out about how difficult it was to be expecting a child during the Covid-19 lockdown.
Sumi revealed in an exclusive interview with Timesug that by the time the first lockdown was implemented in March 2020, she was already expecting, though she was unaware that another life was growing inside her.
It wasn’t until the end of the first month of lockdown that she realized she was expecting a baby angel. Along with the devastation caused by the lockdown, she needed to care for herself and the baby she was about to have.
Many artists were already feeling the effects of the lockdown. This was because they couldn’t have live performances to earn money, nor could they be invited to live individual performances.
Sumi, a member of Uganda’s music industry, faced the same huddles and claims that it was only the Lord’s Grace and never-ending mercies upon his children that saw her during the lockdown.
Now that the arts and performing industries have been fully opened, she promises she has a lot in store for her fans and will certainly keep them entertained.
