The lyrical maturity in Rema Namakula’s songs, Wandiisa ki ,which is a common composition for most of her projects, has always won over many local music fans.
In Wandiisa Ki, a song in which she questions her lover’s charm and expresses her love for him, she does more of the same.
“Wandiisa Ki?” means “What Did You Feed Me?” in Swahili. Rema appears to be wondering what her lover made her eat in order for her to fall so hard for him.
Away from the rich Luganda lyrics, Rema oozes melodies as she creates such a sweet song with her trademark sweet voice.
Ray Signature, a renowned songwriter, wrote the song, which was produced by the talented Nessim Pan Production.
Rema shines in the clear visuals directed by multi-award-winning videographer Sasha Vybz.
Rema has already released three projects this year, demonstrating that she is seriously returning to music after a lengthy absence to attend to family matters.
