Ever since the Cindy Sanyu vs. Sheebah Karungi battle went down at Kololo Airstrip, the common talk in the entertainment industry has all been about music battles. The question on everyone’s mind is: who’s next? Many, including the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Thomas Tayebwa and now Iryn Namubiru and Juliana Kanyomozi.
Thomas Tayebwa has selected a musical battle between Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleone. Others have requested a match-up between Juliana Kanyomozi and Irene Namubiru. When asked about battling Iryn Namubiru, Juliana Kanyomozi was quick to trash the requests, stating that she is “way above the level of battling other artists.”
Over the weekend, Iryn Namubiru was also asked about battling Juliana Kanyomozi. Her response was hilarious: she claimed to have developed a headache and cut the interview short, saying she would respond to the question the next time she got better.

It remains to be seen whether or not either of these battles will actually happen. However, one thing is for sure: the Ugandan entertainment industry is buzzing with excitement about the possibility of more music battles in the near future.
