Spice Diana has continued to demonstrate that she is not your average woman or artist. The celebrity girl recently donated Shs3.4 million to Bobi Wine’s campaign to return Ugandans who are stuck in the United Arab Emirates. Diana’s money will be used to bring four girls home.
Bobi Wine, who posted Spice Diana’s photo and receipt with a message, broke the news of her gesture. “This morning, my beautiful sister @SpiceDianaUg paid for the repatriation of four Ugandan girls from the Middle East. When I called to thank her, she was like “come on brother, I did that for myself and fellow women,”
Firstly, Spice Diana stated to Bobi Wine that the gesture was an early birthday present for her 26th birthday. The four girls join the 42 Ugandans who have previously returned home as a result of Bobi Wine’s campaign.
Bobi Wine started this campaign with a target to bring back all the youths suffering and imprisoned in UAE. With this, he strategised to organise for charity events which were later denied in UAE. Bobi Wine organised a charity event in Dubai to collect some funds to rescue these youths but, he was denied to perform by the Authorities in UAE.
The Authorities in Dubai arrested him upon his arrival at the airport and interrogated him for over 10 hours. However, Bobi Wine didn’t lose focus and continued with the initiative. Yesterday, Bobi Wine made a tweet showing several Ugandans rescued back from UAE.
However, Bobi Wine continued to inform Ugandans that over ahundred Ugandans are still in detentions and others on streets who needs to be rescued.
