Kampala’s biggest meats and music plot by the lakeside Roast and Rhyme is back with a bang, and this time it’s bigger, more fun, and more entertaining. Dubbed “Reggae Ragga Nyam Nyam,” this edition promises to be the most exciting one yet. The event is set to happen this Sunday, 26th February at Jahazi Pier Munyonyo.
The Reggae Ragga Nyam Nyam edition offers a host of activities for revelers looking to have an amazing Reggae Ragga experience. With gazetted roasting spaces equipped with grills, fire, and all of your roasting necessities, revelers can anticipate a pleasant roasting experience. Partygoers who bring their own barbecues will receive a free beverage from Bell beer and Coca-Cola.
A full day of live music performances by some of Uganda’s top artists, including Madoxx Ssematimba, Nutty Neithan, Rickman Manrick, and others, will be provided for guests beside the lake. The sun will drop over Lake Victoria, giving revelers the chance to experience that sundowner moment.
In addition, partygoers can anticipate the largest chill zone at the Mpola park, which will feature games, DJs, a Katale where they can buy snacks, and a variety of other entertaining activities. The organizers have promised security, so revelers can enjoy themselves without any worries.
Because Roast and Rhyme is a family-friendly event, there will be a Kids’ Park with action-packed activities like bouncing castles, face painting, and tons of games with licensed trained childminders. For children under the age of 10, admission is free.
The dress code will be Reggae-themed colorful picnic costumes. So, come dressed to impress and enjoy the event in style.
Tickets are available for purchase, with early bird tickets going for 70k and 100k at the gate. Don’t miss out on this fantastic event! The celebration will be concluded with an after-party featuring Uganda’s top performers. Deejays, come take part in it; you don’t want to hear about it!
Finally, the Reggae Ragga Nyam Nyam edition promises to be an exciting and entertaining event for all. With top artists, lots of meat roasting, and plenty of activities, revelers are guaranteed to have an unforgettable experience.
