Promoter Andrew Alfonso Bajjo has challenged musician Alien Skin to walk around Kiseka Market like he did before his concert in June. If Alien Skin can do this, Bajjo will give him Shs5m. Bajjo says Alien Skin has lost the public’s favor due to his arrogance and pride. He also says that Alien Skin’s career is declining because of his attack on Bobi Wine.
“Alien Skin has never loved the Bobi Wine project,” Bajjo said in an interview with Spark TV. “If I’m lying, God strikes me dead right here in front of these cameras.”
Bajjo also said that Alien Skin is now at the mercy of Champion Ogudo, who is still a little child who can still gain the sympathy of the public. Bajjo apologized to Pallaso for promoting Alien Skin in June. He said that he made a mistake and that he should have known better.
“I apologize to Pallaso,” Bajjo said. “I should have known better than to promote Alien Skin. He is a bad influence and he is not good for the music industry.”
Bajjo’s challenge to Alien Skin has been met with mixed reactions. Some people believe that Alien Skin should take the challenge and prove that he still has the support of the people. Others believe that Bajjo is just trying to get publicity and that Alien Skin should ignore him.
Only time will tell if Alien Skin will take Bajjo’s challenge. But one thing is for sure: the challenge has certainly stirred up the pot in the Ugandan music industry.
