House of prayer ministries international leader Pastor Aloysious Bugingo made the assurance in a video tape that has been making the rounds on social media that, despite his continued support for President Museveni, his son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba will succeed him, come what may. Bugingo warned Ugandans that Muhoozi will take over as leader as soon as President Museveni left office, come what may.
In the opinion of Bugingo, President Museveni is free to exercise his leadership as much as he pleases, but he should keep in mind that his own son, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has intimated that he plans to form his own political party shortly despite being a serving military officer.
“Your excellency the president of Uganda, don’t be fooled that I quit supporting you and started supporting Muhoozi; if I told you I don’t support Muhoozi, I’d be a rascal.” You may rule and retire whenever you like, but Muhoozi will take your place,” says Pastor Aloysious Bugingo.
The controversial city pastor enjoys making news in a variety of ways, but he has recently become interested in politics. The fact that a pastor preaches to several demographics makes many people angry, and they argue that he should be impartial. Bugingo revealed to the public that he is also human and that he is capable of having an interest and a different perspective on things since he will never keep quiet about anything.
