According to information reaching our news desk, Democratic Party President Hon. Nobert Mao has been appointed Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs.
At State House in Entebbe, the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party signed a ‘working cooperation agreement’ with Nobert Mao of the opposition Democratic Party (DP).
President Yoweri Museveni, who is also the chairman of the NRM, signed on behalf of the party, while Norbert Mao signed on behalf of the Democratic Party, which he leads as president. According to a press release, the signing was witnessed by NRM Secretary General Richard Todwong and DP Secretary General Gerald Siranda.
