Events MC and Galaxy FM presenter, Mr. Henrie, whose real name is Henry Arinitwe, has finally opened up about why he distanced himself from Geosteady’s concert. In the wake of the triumphant concert at Hotel Africana of Geosteady, the singer publicly expressed his disappointment with Mr Henrie for not showing up at the event, despite initially confirming his participation.
“Why didn’t you turn up for my concert, bro? You promised to be there,” Geosteady had questioned. Addressing Geosteady’s concerns, Mr. Henrie explained that he had played his part in ensuring the concert’s success. Many of the companies he was associated with had sponsored the event. However, as a service provider, he couldn’t offer his services for free unless explicitly requested by the event promoter, which had happened in the past.
Furthermore, Mr. Henrie highlighted that Geosteady had initially invited him to be one of the MCs for the concert. But on the day of the event, only Dj Nimrod was officially announced, leaving Mr. Henrie perplexed. He couldn’t bring himself to attend an event where he hadn’t received a formal invitation.
“I do things professionally what if I attended the show and I was hauled off the stage?” Mr. Henrie reasoned. In the end, it appears that Mr. Henrie’s decision to distance himself from Geosteady’s concert was driven by a commitment to professionalism and a desire to avoid any potential mishaps during the event.
