Veteran singer Mesach Semakula has warned musicians against using his Papaz Spot restaurant as a battleground. In the past few weeks, there have been two incidents of musicians fighting at the restaurant. First, Alien Skin got into a physical brawl with events promoter Nobert. Then, Grace Khan and Kid Dee traded blows and insults.
The altercations have damaged the restaurant’s reputation and led to several customers complaining. Grace Khan has apologized to Semakula for her behavior, but he is still upset. He says that he will no longer tolerate musicians using his restaurant to fight.
“I have been generous to you artists, but I will not take it for granted,” Mesach Semakula said. “I am a businessman, and I will not allow you to damage my business.” Semakula says that his restaurant hosts all kinds of respectable people who do not want to be inconvenienced by musicians’ battles. He says that his business is his retirement plan, and he will not let anyone mess it up.
Mesach Semakula has urged Papaz Spot guests to follow the restaurant’s rules. He has also pledged to impose stricter security measures to prevent further acts of disrespect. “I will not tolerate any more fighting at my restaurant,” Semakula said. “If you want to fight, go somewhere else.”
