Ugandan singer Jose Chameleone has issued a strong warning to events promoter and CEO of JJ Sounds events, Mr. Ssebuguzi Jafari Jjuuko, to return his Escalade car. Chameleone, in a Facebook post on Friday, said he gave the car to Ssebuguzi over two years ago with the expectation that he would return it soon. However, Ssebuguzi has failed to do so, and Chameleone‘s efforts to get the car back have been unsuccessful.
“Mr. Ssebuguzi, you know how far we’ve come,” Jose Chameleone said. “Bro, trouble is about to unfold about this car. I love you, but let’s make this easy. I’ve been asking for your generosity for two years! Please bring back my car!”
Chameleone deleted the Facebook post shortly after it was published, and it is unclear if Ssebuguzi has returned the car. This is not the first time that Jose Chameleone has had problems with his cars. In 2019, he was involved in a car accident that totaled his Range Rover. He later accused the other driver of being drunk and driving recklessly.
Chameleone is one of the most popular musicians in Uganda. He has won numerous awards, including the MTN African Music Awards Artist of the Year in 2013. It remains to be seen if Ssebuguzi will return Chameleone’s car. However, the singer’s warning is a clear sign that he is not happy with the situation.
