Singer Kasadha John, aka John Blaq, has declared himself ready for a music battle against several musicians he thinks he can defeat. “I am ready to battle any musician of my generation,” Blaq said in an interview with Bukedde TV. “I can only be outperformed by King Saha, Eddy Kenzo, and Bebe Cool’s generation.”
John Blaq named Pallaso, Fik Fameica, Alien Skin, Feffe Bussi, Spice Diana, and many others as musicians he is confident he can defeat in a music battle. “I am the Obubadi crooner, and I am not afraid of anyone,” Blaq said. “I am even ready to take my entire generational musicians on one stage in a music battle.”
Blaq’s challenge comes after Cindy and Sheebah announced their own music battle, which is scheduled to take place on September 15th at Kololo Airstrip. The battle has generated a lot of excitement among Ugandan music fans, and Blaq’s challenge is likely to add to the hype.
It remains to be seen who will accept Blaq’s challenge, but one thing is for sure: the music battle between Cindy Sanyu and Sheebah Karungi is not the only one that Ugandan music fans will be talking about in the coming weeks.
