A pregnant woman who was hospitalized for five days due to malaria was caught by her husband having sex with a 24-year-old man. Although the Apac District police have undoubtedly seen it all, this case—which seems more fictitious than real—set new ground as relevant authorities debated what charges to press against the culprit.
Eventually, the 24-year-old who makes a meager living roasting pork in Apac Town was charged with producing a public nuisance. The suspect, a 24-year-old man, and the expectant mother’s identities have been kept secret. The incidence was corroborated by the spouse, who was identified as Alex Okuta and who lives in Abwal “A” Village in Chegere Sub-county in the Apac District. He acknowledged that his ailing wife had been unfaithful.
“I made a surprise visit to the hospital to check on my wife then I found that man in bed with my pregnant wife. She was admitted because she was suffering from malaria,” the man explained.
The defendant, who earns a career roasting pork in Apac Town, was eventually handcuffed by the cops for producing a public nuisance. David Wills Ndaula, the commander of the Apac District Police, verified the offense.
On Thursday, he stated, “We have preferred charges of causing public nuisance against the suspect, but we are still investigating and will update you at an appropriate time,”
According to reports, the accused entered the hospital’s female ward last week. Since then, his luck had run out until the husband unexpectedly dropped by to check on his wife. Joseph Onuk, the administrator of Apac Hospital, was less sympathetic to the grieving husband and blamed him for his plight.
“I put the blame on the husband of this woman. How can you send your wife to the hospital and you take long without checking on her? Some men always say that they are so busy. Somebody who is not busy will take away your wife.”
Investigations into the incident, according to DPC Ndula, are in progress.
