In a recent turn of events, the husband of Hajjat Kulthum Nabunya, Acram Gumisiriza, has found himself facing serious accusations, which ultimately resulted in his arrest. Reports suggest that he stands accused of rape, a grave and distressing charge.
According to the available information, it is said that Acram is alleged to have solicited sexual services from an unidentified woman. Upon returning home, the woman made it clear that she would not engage in any sexual activities with him and remained resolute in her decision.
Unexpectedly, Acram discovered that the woman had recorded their conversation, a discovery that left him feeling uneasy. This situation allegedly drove Acram Gumisiriza to commit a heinous act, as he is said to have used a machete to engage in non-consensual sexual intercourse with the woman.
In response to this distressing incident, the woman sought help at Kibuye Police Station, where she reported the rape and demanded a settlement of Ugx 10 million. Acram, however, was unable to come up with the requested funds, leading to his overnight stay in police custody.
It is worth noting that Acram Gumisiriza is married to Hajat Kulthum Nabunya, who is presently in the United States with undisclosed intentions. This unfortunate incident has cast a dark shadow over their family and the community, highlighting the importance of addressing such serious allegations with utmost diligence and care.
