Hassan Kigozi, aka Geosteady, held his first official concert at the Imperial Royale Hotel in 2017. It went well because fans and fellow musicians showed up to support him.
As more artists announce tour dates, Geosteady has informed his fans that he will not be performing live this year.
“I’m not ready for a musical concert this year. I don’t have the music,” Geosteady noted.
He then held a successful limited edition “Dine With Geosteady” concert at the Golf Course Hotel in 2018.
In 2019, he did the same at Kingdom Kampala Mall.
Coronavirus struck the world in 2020, causing a two-year lockdown. He hasn’t performed in nearly three years.
He has, however, remained musically relevant by releasing a couple of good songs during that time period, in addition to keeping his face in the news for various reasons.
Most of his fans expected him to schedule a concert later this year, but he appears to be unprepared.
The CEO of Blackman Entertainment believes that a successful concert would require a large number of hit songs.
Geosteady ruled out staging a concert this year in an interview with Galaxy FM.
