Gabie Ntaate, who joined Spark TV in 2018 as a replacement for Zahara Totto and Anna Talia Oze, shocked viewers when she revealed that Friday was her last show on the network.
Precious Remmie presented her with the cake after the show and revealed that she told her she wanted to resign and thought she was joking until yesterday, Friday, December 31, 2021, when she finally threw in the towel.
Ntaate expressed gratitude to Nation Media Group (NMG) for their assistance during her time at the Serena-based station and stated that she will miss them.
Gabie Ntaate and Precious Remmie are said to be unhappy at the Serena-based station because they believe they are underpaid.
Ntaate has recently been making a lot of money from parties by performing her gospel music, and she makes more money without having to work as hard as she does at Spark TV.
As a born-again Christian, her close friend told us that Ntaate believes she is unfit for a gossip show and would rather present a more respectable program.
They have been struggling with the new programming schedule since the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) issued a directive requiring all gossip shows to air from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
However, there are unconfirmed reports that Ntaate met with NBS TV in private. We are following up on this story and will keep you updated.
