Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) president Eddy Kenzo recently addressed the buzz surrounding a potential music battle with fellow artist King Saha. In an interview with Baba TV, Kenzo shed light on his stance, emphasizing the importance of peace and harmony in the music industry.
Kenzo expressed his disinterest in engaging in a musical duel with King Saha. He stressed the significance of unity and collaboration among artists. The initial discussion about a music battle ignited when Kenzo stated he would only participate if it were in West Africa.
In response, Saha was ready to meet all of Kenzo’s demands to make the battle happen. However, Kenzo has had a change of heart and is adopting a more conciliatory approach. As the UNMF president, Kenzo holds deep affection for all colleagues in the music industry. Eddy Kenzo highlights his amicable relationship with King Saha and the absence of any animosity.
Kenzo acknowledges his inability to engage in competitive battles, as his principles prioritize unity, love, and avoiding conflicts with fellow musicians. He has no objections to others participating in musical battles but firmly states he will never personally partake in such activities.
Eddy Kenzo’s message promotes unity, emphasizing that in the ever-evolving music industry, collaboration and harmony are the keys to success.
