Kenyans are mourning the death of renowned DJ Lithium, born Alex Nderi, who committed suicide at the Capital FM offices in Nairobi.
DJ Lithium, according to our news reporters, ingested rat poison on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
According to reports, before taking the poison, the celebrated DJ deleted his social media accounts and wrote a suicide note that partially said “I’m gone.”
Ndyeri’s coworkers discovered him unconscious just minutes after he had digested the poison. They summoned assistance, and he was taken to Nairobi Hospital, where efforts to save his life were futile, and he died.
“The circumstances surrounding Alex’s death are a family matter which has been taken over by relevant authorities,” said Capital FM management in a statement.
