NBS TV journalist Canary Mugume and Sasha Ferguson have officially exchanged vows on their new marriage. The wedding took place at Ruby’s Miracle Centre Cathedral in Kampala.
Canary Mugume biography.
Canary was born on 7th January, 1995 in Mbarara city in western Uganda. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology at International University of East Africa.
He went to Mbarara Municipal Primary School for primary education, Mbarara Secondary School and Lutembe International School for secondary education. Mugume has a degree in information technology and computer engineering from the International University of East Africa. He also has a certificate in TV Production and Training from U.S. Agency for Global Media, a certificate in New Trends in Journalism from Institute for the advancement of journalism and a certificate in Digital Media Training from the U.S Agency for Global Media.
Canary Mugume started his journalism career at radio west in Mbarara where he used to read news in interest of children under sixteen years old. He also worked at channel 44 and Urban TV as a trainee. While at school, he used to read news at the parade which later was given a news platform at school.
Mugume Canary currently is the Covid-19 correspondent at NBS TV. Furthermore, He is also the host of a Saturday political radio show on Nxt Radio titled “The Big Talk”. He also writes a column in the Nile Post news portal every week titled ‘My Parting Shot.
Sasha Ferguson
Fiona Nagirinya famously known as Sasha Ferguson is 25 years old. She is now officially a wife to Canary Mugume. She is a former WBS TV presenter.
Sasha is a humanitarian, a founder of Draw A Smile Uganda – a charity organization that focuses on empowering and educating young women and girls. Additionally, Sasha is also the C.E.O of Sash Hair Collection based in Kabalagala, a fashionista, and influencer.

In conclusion, While speaking to Red Pepper in 2020, Sasha Ferguson revealed that she likes Canary because he is “unique and gifted.” The two are now officially married.
