Shafik Walukagga, alias Fik Fameica, the head of Fresh Gang Entertainment, held a successful concert last night at the Hotel Africana in Kampala.
The event, dubbed “Fik Fameica Live,” drew a massive crowd as revelers flocked to the location as early as 5 pm to see the Fresh Gang rapper perform.
Curtain raisers began performing their sets at around 8 o’clock, which caused stage performances to start a little later than expected.
The performances were led by Vamos256, a singer for Fenon Records, and included Fresh Kid, Martha Mukisa, Vyper Ranking, Fille Mutoni, Zex Bilangilangi, Zulitums, Geosteady, and Mikie Wine.
The moment Firebase crew leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, aka Bobi Wine, entered the venue in style was the highlight of the performance.
Thunderous applause greeted the former candidate for president of Uganda in 2021, forcing singer Geosteady to drop the microphone because the audience’s attention had been drawn to Bobi Wine.
The concert then took a new turn after that. The deejay played Bobi Wine’s songs nonstop for about five minutes before he took a seat and things got back to normal.
Following that, stage performances went on without a hitch with various acts performing until Fik Fameica took the stage at around ten o’clock.
Fik Fameica, who was dressed in a white suit, put on an exciting performance as he performed his “Kutama” jam with Ritah Da Dancer, who lifted him off the ground.
Karole Kasita joined Ritah Da Dancer on the set, adding spice to the performance, which the audience thoroughly enjoyed.
