Reports filtering in suggest that Bobi Wine’s One Love Beach in Busabala has declined to host singer Alien Skin’s Nkwacho festival. After a falling-out with events promoter Abitex Promotions due to financial disagreements, Alien Skin disclosed his plans to reschedule the “Nkwacho” festival, initially under Abitex Promotions’ auspices.
This decision drew strong criticism from Abitex Promotions and, interestingly, a faction of online users condemned him for his statements directed at President Museveni. Alien Skin asserted his readiness to guide President Museveni through various ghettos and requested a bulletproof vehicle.
Yet, this assertion by Alien Skin created a division among his followers. Some alleged he betrayed NUP supporters and party leader Bobi Wine, while others revealed his lack of political affiliation. In response, the Fangone Forest Entertainment singer maintained his neutrality, self-made status, and non-alignment with any political party.
In a surprising twist, Alien Skin announced plans to hold the “Nkwacho” festival at Bobi Wine’s One Love Beach in Busabala. However, a recent post on the One Love Beach Busabala Facebook page seems to indicate that the Beach won’t be available for Alien Skin’s Nkwacho Festival.
As per the post shared earlier today, One Love Beach hasn’t been reserved for music concerts this year. Instead, it has been accessible solely for family gatherings such as weddings, birthdays, bridal and baby showers, and more.
“One Love beach has not been booked for any music concerts this year. We are instead open for all other family gatherings such as weddings, birthdays, bridal and baby showers, etc. Call 0776619041 for any inquiries and bookings.”
