Celebrating his 11th wedding anniversary with Barbara Itungo, also known as Barbie, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, aka Bobi Wine, gushed about her in numerous social media posts.
Bobi Wine recalled his wife tattooing his face on her back as a symbol of their commitment to marriage through Facebook.
“First I married you in my dreams, then married you in a play and finally married you in church,” Bobi tweeted “Happy anniversary my love.”
“On this day 11 years ago, your father handed you to me in Lubaga Cathedral and we pronounced our vows to each other before Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga. We took the holy sacrament of matrimony together. You even tattooed my face on your back,” he continued.
“What a day that was, what a beautiful experience? It’s like only yesterday. Dear Barbie Kyagulanyi, it’s been such an honour being married to you. I couldn’t imagine a better companion. May this, our 11th wedding anniversary bring you sweet memories of our love story. I love you so much.”
Additionally, Barbie posted pictures from their wedding along with a love letter to her husband.

I am waiting to spend my elderly days with you. I love you immeasurably and today, I wish you a Happy 11th Anniversary.”
When Bobi Wine was a student at Makerere University and Barbie Kyagulanyi was a senior at Bweranyangi Girls’ Senior Secondary School, the couple first got together. They got married in 2011 and are the parents of four kids.
