Last week, Bobi Wine aka Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu went into the studio to record his new Ogenda Song. This occurred after Bobi Wine was placed under house arrest. He was refused to campaign for NUP flag bearer Harriet Nakwedde.
Firstly, in the new song, Bobi Wine assures Uganda’s President, His Excellency Yoweri K. Museveni, that he will step down. It should be noted that Bobi Wine came in second place in the previous Presidential election. He does, however, claim that the elections were rigged.
“You promised to chase away election thieves.” Bobi Wine in the song.
“You are going, Dictator will fall. Even when you rigged the elections with impunity.” Bobi continued in the song.
