NRG Radio Uganda has ended Etania Mutoni’s contract due to indiscipline. The termination, effective July 3rd, 2024, follows Etania’s deviation from company policies. Etania, known as Edith Ndagire, joined NRG Radio last year, enhancing her TV career.
In a statement dated July 1st, 2024, NRG Radio explained the decision. Etania will receive her salary up to July 3rd. She must return all company property, including IDs and a laptop, to the Human Resources office by the specified date. The termination letter also includes a non-compete clause. Etania cannot work with competitors for a year or disclose business information. NRG Radio emphasized this restriction in the letter.
Etania’s journey at NRG Radio had been successful until recent policy breaches. Her role as a femcee and DJ was well-received, contributing significantly to the station’s popularity.
