Angola international forward Nelione Jose Tavares has signed a two-year contract with Vipers Sports Club after leaving Angola’s top flight club Kabuscorp Sport Clube Do Palancaon.
Vipers Sports Club’s management has officially signed Angola international forward Nelione Jose Tavares.
Tavares, also known as “Nelito,” has signed a two-year contract with the reigning Stanbic Uganda Cup winners.
He joined the Venoms from Kabuscorp Sport Clube Do Palancaon of the Angola Premier League.
Tavares arrived in Uganda on Thursday evening and was quickly registered as a Venom before the Ugandan transfer window closed.
As a result, his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) has been approved, and he will wear shirt 24.
Vipers Sports Club head coach Roberto “Robertinho” Oliveira was overjoyed to sign the Angolan, whom he believes will be an important addition to the team.

He is the club’s third new signing, joining teenage goalkeeper Jack Komakech and midfielder Bright Anukani.
Tavares is the third foreign-based player currently in the Kitende-based club.
The other two are Burundian goalkeeper Fabien Mutombora and Democratic Republic of Congo forward Ceaser Lobi Manzoki (DRC).
However, On Sunday, October 17, 2021, the Vipers kick off the 2021-2022 season with a short away trip to the MTN Omondi Stadium against Police.
