In the wake of Busoga Kingdom’s proclamation of Jovia Mutesi as Her Royal Highness Inhebantu, the self-proclaimed Queen of Busoga, a UK-based nurse has emerged, asserting her rightful claim to the throne alongside the current Kyabazinga of Busoga, William Wilberforce Nadiope Gabula IV.
On September 7, 2023, Busoga’s Prime Minister, Dr. Joseph Muvawala, bestowed the title of queen upon Jovia Mutesi, disclosing a preceding traditional ceremony. Notably, the royal wedding is slated for November 18, 2023. Soon after this announcement, a UK-based nurse, who is also Nadiope’s baby mama, boldly proclaimed her standing as the true queen.
Real Mrs. Gabula Nadiope, as she goes by on Facebook, disparaged Nadiope as a ‘Smart wire,’ contending that she had been the one financially supporting his lifestyle. Residing in London, Real Mrs. Gabula Nadiope asserted herself as Nadiope’s first wife and emphasized their shared children. She expressed her ire towards Queen Jovia Mutesi, alleging that she had dispatched individuals to malign her.
Real Mrs. Gabula Nadiope further alleged that Nadiope had acquired Jovia Mutesi from Speke Hotel, and she had financed their medical tests. Demanding respect from Jovia, she argued that the King had every prerogative to marry as many women as he wished, even disclosing Nadiope’s purported second wife in Canada.
Additionally, Real Mrs. Gabula Nadiope revealed that Nadiope had claimed he was coerced into marrying Jovia, and he had cautioned Jovia that she might languish in the palace like a mere portrait. In unequivocal terms, Real Mrs. Gabula Nadiope affirmed her status as Nadiope’s primary wife, the mother of his offspring, and her unwavering presence in his life.
