In the realm of music and charity, Spice Diana stands out as a beacon of benevolence. Her recent philanthropic endeavor involves breathing life into the stalled Masjid At-Tawheed mosque along Salaama Road. The mosque had languished in disrepair for quite some time until Hajara Namukwaya, popularly known as Spice Diana, stepped in to fund its completion and painting.
During the Friday prayers (Jumah) at the mosque, the resident Imam, Mr. Kayongo Ali, extolled the virtues of Spice Diana altruism. He called upon fellow musicians to take inspiration from her actions and contribute positively to their communities. According to the Imam, Spice Diana’s consistent commitment to charitable acts is a significant reason behind her flourishing music career and the unwavering love she receives from the public.
The Imam expressed his elation at Diana’s offer to complete the remaining work on the Masjid, as they had struggled for a considerable period to secure the necessary funds. He encouraged Spice Diana to continue her generous endeavors, assuring her that such acts of kindness would bring blessings from Allah and ensure she never lacks.
This act of generosity follows closely on the heels of Spice Diana’s revelation of an orphanage home in Mpigi, which is nearing completion. It is evident that Spice Diana’s heart is filled with a desire to make a difference in the lives of those around her, proving that her music is not just a source of entertainment but also a channel for positive change in society.
