Red Banton Evicted From His Rental, Refuses To Leave The City

Despite his financial difficulties, faded singer Red Banton is not ready to leave Kampala, as he sang in his Sijja Kuva Kampala song.

This has now resulted in him defaulting on his current residence. A few days ago, a woman made headlines when she claimed that the singer had not paid his rent.

According to this woman, Red Banton first fell behind on his payments for 8 months before they excused him. The rent on his house was a whopping 750,000 shillings per month.

They decided to divide the house in order to reduce the price. This was reduced to 400,000 shillings, but he has still not paid rent for two months.

Red Banton, on the other hand, saw this unfortunate incident as a blessing in disguise. This is after some well-wishers from abroad sent him money to pay off his debts.

“Sometimes you do something thinking that you are going to victimize someone but you end up giving them blessings. Well-wishers sent me the money to clear the rental arrears but I actually don’t know that woman who appeared in the news embarrassing me. The people for who I pay the rent are different from the one who was interviewed. In fact, that woman is mad but I want to pay her so that she renovates herself because she looks awful,” Red Banton stated

After receiving the money, the singer ripped into the woman who had come out to embarrass him on television. He stated that he does not know her and that she is upset.

Music appears to have divorced the singer, as it has been a long time since he has released a song. In fact, convincing today’s kids that he was the star of the early 2000s is extremely difficult.
