Hajjat Kulthum Nabunya has taken Pretty Nicole, whose real name is Emmanuella Musimenta, to a back-to-school program to further her studies. Lately, Pretty Nicole has been making headlines for various reasons. Initially, she gained notoriety due to being tormented by her close friend, Queen Kaftah. This led to Queen Kaftah being imprisoned, while Nicole was given the opportunity to continue her education in Western Uganda.
However, Nicole managed to escape from school, claiming that some of her teachers had inappropriately touched her before expressing interest in pursuing a musical career. This decision didn’t sit well with her mother and other influential figures in her life, who intervened and counseled her, convincing her to return to her studies.
On Sunday, July 30th, 2023, Nicole appeared in several videos and photos wearing a Muslim school uniform, showing her determination to return to school. Hajjat Kulthum Nabunya facilitated the re-enrollment of Pretty Nicole, mentioning that she would study for the remaining months before her final exams as she was a primary seven candidate who had already registered for her primary leaving exams at her previous school.
In her statement, Nicole expressed her readiness to focus on her studies this time and extended gratitude to everyone who supported her in getting back to school. She vowed to work hard to achieve a first-grade result in her final exams.
It is heartening to see that Nicole is given another chance to pursue her education, and with the support of Hajjat Kulthum Nabunya, it is hoped that she will excel academically and achieve her goals. Education is a powerful tool, and every effort should be made to ensure that all young individuals have the opportunity to learn and grow.
