Pinky Rahmah, a new member of the Team No Sleep-TNS, is already battling for her own space just days after signing with the record label.
TNS boss Jeff Kiwanuka hired Pinky Rahmah to replace the departed Sheebah Karungi. Who parted ways with the label she had been with since 2013.
Pinky has already released her first TNS audio, “Superstar,” and many people have pointed out that she sounds exactly like Sheebah Karungi. There have also been claims that Pinky inherited Sheebah’s unfinished TNS projects. While others claim Jeff simply wanted an artist who sounded exactly like Sheebah to compete with her.
Many want music experts have stated that if Pinky imitates Sheebah’s style and vocals, she will forever be in her shadow.
Pinky, on the other hand, disputes this, claiming that she has not come to TNS to fight Sheebah, claiming that the star singer is already a much bigger brand and that she can only look up to her.
Pinky also revealed that she was surprised to be told she sounded like Sheebah, something she had not paid much attention to. She reiterated that she is solely concerned with cultivating her own TNS legacy.
