MC Jerry, Uganda’s Mic Face, has released his second songwith Nina Roz, “Ovaawa” (which means “Where Are You From?” in Luganda).
“Ovaawa,” a motivational collaboration with Nina Roz, is a must-listen that should entice you to the dance floor.
MC Jerry, with his now-famous tagline “we don’t stop, we won’t stop,” was far from silent during the Covid-19 pandemic.
He is now concentrating his efforts even more on encouraging Uganda’s emcees, bringing them into the spotlight, and raising the profession’s profile.
The beautifully song “Ovaawa” continues the theme of never giving up, which MC Jerry introduced most recently in a successful piece “Champion.”
Nina Roz owns the melody while still delivering the message of fidelity to the world – why chase after good looks and trendy clothes when beauty can be found right in your current partner? Don’t wait until it’s too late to show your love for the one you care about!
Mesh Pan produced “Ovaawa,” and Magical Arts Studio directed the song.
