Six days ago, the Dubai social scene was rocked as accusations of fraud and scams surfaced against Ugandan socialite Bryan Kirumira, popularly known as Bryan White. The storm began when a man named Mwanje publicly accused Bryan White of orchestrating fraudulent schemes that targeted mobile money agents in Dubai.
In a viral video, Mwanje narrated his ordeal, cautioning fellow agents to steer clear of Bryan White, labeling him a nightmare and accusing him of playing deceitful hide-and-seek games with promises gone unfulfilled. Mwanje detailed a loan of Ugx4m that Bryan White allegedly took and failed to repay within the agreed four days, accumulating an additional Ugx 200k in interest.
Amid the chaos, Bryan White stumbled upon the video and was stunned by the accusations. Instead of reacting impulsively, he took a mature approach, initiating a meeting with Mwanje to address the miscommunication. In an unexpected turn of events, the two parties reconciled, with Bryan White not only repaying the loan but also offering a bonus to Mwanje.
Mwanje, acknowledging the miscommunication, turned to TikTok to vent his frustrations about Bryan White. However, after the meeting, he clarified his intentions, stating, “It was not my intention to downplay or bring Bryan White down. I was influenced by peer groups to expose him. But we are okay because he sorted me out, and we settled everything.”

In a public apology via a Facebook live broadcast on Bryan White’s page, Mwanje expressed remorse to the public and Bryan White’s family, seeking forgiveness for the turmoil caused by his accusations. “Please, Ugandans, I plead for forgiveness for the comment I made in that video, though it hurt many people, including Bryan White’s family,” Mwanje humbly stated.
The tale of accusations, redemption, and forgiveness serves as a reminder that sometimes, misunderstandings can be resolved through open communication and maturity.
