Renowned socialite Martha Kay, known by her real name Martha Kemigisha Kagimba, has recently achieved a significant milestone in her career by obtaining a certificate in photography during her stay in Kenya. Just last month, Martha Kay publicly expressed her profound passion for photography and her eagerness to revive her long-dormant photography career.
After years of hiatus, the multi-talented artist, who wears many hats as an actress, photographer, radio host, and content creator, decided it was time to refine her photography skills. To accomplish this goal, Martha Kay embarked on a short photography course in Kenya, where she has been residing for several months.
She joined the August intake at Njeri Photography, alongside numerous other enthusiastic learners, to earn her coveted certificate in photography. Over the course of one month, Martha delved into various facets of photography, including retouching, lighting techniques, camera operation, and equipment utilization, as well as the intricacies of the photography business.
The intensive course demanded commitment, with two-hour sessions on working days, and a price tag of Ksh 50,000 (approximately Ugx 1.2 million) for tuition. Upon the successful completion of her coursework, Martha Kay was proudly awarded a participation certificate. She is now eagerly anticipating the opportunity to apply her newfound knowledge and skills to further enrich her already illustrious career in the world of photography.
